Self Care Bath Kit Instructions + Meditation

You are reading this because you have either purchased or have been gifted the Self Care Bath Kit by Cosmic Earth Apothecary + Nico Lebreux, so thank you and welcome!

Here are the detailed instructions on how to best collaborate with your kit for an hour or so of gentle, nourishing self care for your entire being; body, mind emotions, and spirit.

  1. Start by filling your bathtub up with hot water and tossing in one of your herbal bath soak tea bags. These contain epsom salt, organic chamomile, organic lavender, and organic calendula. The epsom salt will release tension from your muscles and the herbs will relax you while nourishing and softening your skin.

  3. I’ve also created for you a Self Care Ritual Spotify Playlist. It is a collection of some of my favorite relaxing music. Fell free to listen to it on shuffle or in order. It might be a nice addition to your self care bath ritual.

  4. Gather a fire safe dish for your smudge bundle like a glass or ceramic bowl or plate, seashells work great too!

  5. Light your beeswax candle and turn out the lights.

  6. Light the smudge bundle on fire and blow out the flame, leaving smoking embers. Circle the room with your smudge wand and set an intention for a relaxing and healing space for your self care time. Allow the smoke to waft all around your body as well. Place the smoking herbs onto your fire safe dish.

  7. Slowly and mindfully lower yourself into the tub, truly luxuriating in the absolute pleasure of being in hot water. What a gift! Relax your body + mind by taking slow deep breaths, feeling air coming into and moving out from your body.

  8. Listen to end enjoy the prerecorded guided meditation. Continue slow, mindful breathing even after the meditation is complete.

  9. Stay in the tub for as long as you please, partaking in any other self care or self pleasuring activities. You might need to top the tub off with more hot water.

  10. When you are through, get out and softly towel dry leaving some drops of water still on your skin.

  11. Massage the Bloom Herbal Body Oil into any or all parts of your body. Take your time, move slowly and mindfully, offering gratitude to your body as you luxuriate in self love.

  12. Drain the tub and discard or compost the remains of your bath soak tea bag.

  13. Thank yourself for taking this time for deep nourishing self care! You deserve it!
