Ancient mosaic covered and gold crowned wats juxtaposed against modern skyscrapers and contemporary urban life. Join me on an unparalleled adventure on the other side of the planet.
We will begin our journey amidst the hustle and bustle of one of the busiest cities in southeast Asia. Home to historic and awe inspiring wats, enormous Buddhas, and some of the most eclectic street food that the world has to offer, Bangkok will immediately immerse us into Thai life and culture. We will rest our heads at a Thai owned eco friendly guest house in the Banglamphu district, just blocks away from the Chao Phraya River. Optional activities include: rooftop yoga and meditation, thai cooking class, local transport city tour, riverboat cruise, thai massage, cafe lounging, and street market shopping.
The latter portion of our adventure finds us on Koh Yao Noi, a quintessential island paradise nestled among many islands and limestone formations in Phang Nga Bay. An off the beaten path gem, this island is one of the few that has not been commercially developed, retaining local charm. Our time will be spent relaxing and reflecting at our rustic yoga retreat center. Optional activities include: sunrise tai chi, exploring secret beaches on uninhabited islands, kayaking through mangrove forests, sipping cocktails in the sand, beach side yoga and meditation, motorbiking through rice paddies, or doing absolutely nothing.
Long tail boats rest amongst limestone cliffs awaiting their next charter in Phang Nga Bay.
Meet Your Guide
My love for adventure began at an early age by exploring New England, camping, and hiking with my family. After working and saving for a school art trip to Italy in high school, I realized that money spent on travel is an investment well made! Since then I have journeyed to over 15 countries on three continents including spending two months motorbiking in Southeast Asia.
I spend my time at home in Rhode Island taking care of my lively and hilarious almost 3 year old son, Lennox, tending to my many houseplants and overgrown gardens, and enjoying life outdoors in the coastal countryside with friends and family.
My current yoga teaching schedule includes teaching mindful and intuitive yoga at Studio on 6 in Westport MA, the Little Compton Wellness Center in Little Compton RI, and the Dartmouth Cultural Center in Dartmouth MA. In my classes there are no expectations and no judgments. I hold space for you to strengthen your intuition, spirit, and body by practicing your yoga.
I also host workshops on balancing and healing your chakras, pranayama, herbalism, local plants and medicines, and general wellness practices for the whole person and the whole planet.

Additional Information
This is an adventure retreat! I encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone and see how most of the rest of the world lives. We will experience things you’ve most likely never done before, whether that’s an overnight train ride with the locals, eating food from a sidewalk kitchen, hiring a tuk-tuk taxi, witnessing heart wrenching poverty, or bringing with you only what you can carry in a hiking backpack! There are times when you might be hungry, tired, or lost but you will come home a stronger and more compassionate human because of it.
To officially reserve your spot, a non-refundable deposit of $495 must be made by check or venmo to @NicoleLebreuxYoga. (If you would like to pay via credit card, a 2.5% processing fee will be added.) After that you can pay all at once or in installments of your choice. No refunds will be given after December 3, 2018 and all payments must be made in full by January 3, 2019.
You must purchase travel insurance! This is necessary in case you have to cancel your trip past the December 3, 2018 refund date and if there is any sort of medical emergency while overseas. The emergency care in Thailand is good but it usually includes a helicopter transfer to the hospital which can be very expensive. Travel insurance usually costs around $50-75 and is offered by most credit cards.
After you have registered for this retreat you will receive frequent emails from me covering topics such as booking your flight, what to pack and essential things to not forget, appropriate dress and etiquette in Thailand, key phrases and words and how to pronounce them, preparation checklists, and just fun things to get you more excited about our adventure, if that is even possible!
Because we will be traveling with a small group there is a lot of room for flexibility and custom tailoring this trip just for you! Please share with me places and experiences that you don’t want to miss. Let’s make this your Thailand dream adventure!
If you are interested in this trip, have any questions or concerns, or would to sign up to come you can email me at nicolelebreuxyoga@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you and to being your yoga and adventure retreat guide!
